Chris is California born and raised, and a lifelong resident. He is the second child and only boy of six children of a Mexican-American dad and a WWII English war bride mom. He remembers seeing and living from a very early age, and started writing with purpose in 8th Grade, many, many years ago. Graduate of UC Riverside, history major, religious studies minor. A federal employee for 30 years. Married, also many, many, years, now with three grown daughters and ten grandchildren with family now scattered throughout California, the Midwest, and the New York City area. He writes fiction and non-fiction and observes and writes on all that catches his eye and mind. He believes that writing is a “way of seeing” and essentially a way of life.
