Our God is the hands of Jesus upon the face of a three-year-old, gently enfolding, caressing that little face, with love and infinite kindness lifting that face, lifting those eyes, so that the child may gaze into the face, the eyes of God, without fear.
God, in His love, has never treated me as a loathsome spider He dangles above the flames.
