Second Granddaughter – 04/21/14

…and the young girl loved her mother who she thought was very pretty and sometimes she just wanted to be with her and watch her cook, or read, or sew.  And sometimes she would just watch and sometimes she would think.  And what would the young girl think?  Oh, she would wonder how it is to be older and she wondered about her life – would it be happy like her mommy’s life – though that seemed like a lot of work for her – and she wondered if it was hard being happy when you had to work so hard so long all the time.  She thought that maybe she would ask her mother because her mommy was pretty, but she was also very smart and she knew the answers to so many things.  And so she thought she would be pretty and smart like her mommy when she grew up.
