Good Signs – Sunday Message – Three Photos Attached – The First One is of the Sun Beginning to Set with the Air Much Cleaner of the Smoke
***
Second Grandson, this is your Sunday message, and as you can see I have attached three photos, the first one is of the sun beginning to set with the air now cleaner of much of the smoke that I took a few days ago, and the other two photos are of signs that were in front of houses that I passed when I have been on my walks around the neighborhood here. To me, all three are good “signs“.

The first photo, of course shows that the worst of the fires in California have now lessened a bit, as the sky is now cleaner as most of the smoke that had settled down upon us, and its chocking hold on our breathing, is now being dissipated.

The other two signs, similar signs, show that even with all of the disruptions going on in all of our lives because of the pandemic, and the economic stresses because many people do not have jobs or they are working less and making less money, and with what you see in terms of big differences at school, and then with also just all the political and social wrongness that we hear and which seems constantly to swirl around us, complete with statements and proclamations and being made that try to divide us as a nation, which try to focus resentment and blame on certain people, these two signs, like two flowers blossoming in the ground after a big fire, these signs show that there is still goodness and life within the hearts and lives and homes of people of goodwill.

These are signs that give me hope and that encourage me to continue speaking about, writing, and praying for those things which give hope to people and which honor God and speak of Jesus and his kingdom. These are good signs.
I think of you often during the week, and I pray for you, and I love you very much and I miss you very much. I will be listening to the service at WOLC this morning.
